On-line reporting data enhancement trials provide problem resolution time / cost reduction benefits to clients (Jan 2009)
AutoScan North of England clients continue to take part in additional on-line data provision trials that provide a Daily Concern Analysis Report (DCAR) document as an addition to the established Customer Visit Report (CVR). The latter details inspection reject / rework data and associated activity hours whilst the new DCAR, using digital photography and Pareto tools, provides the customer with a comprehensive summary of the concern, the number of reject and reworked parts and a Pareto analysis of all concerns. All clients taking part within this DCAR trial, particularly overseas clients, have reported that this document is enabling total cost reduction through quick and effective concern resolution.
AutoScan plan to roll-out the DCAR reporting process during the coming months.
